I booked on Booking.com but I had to cancel. Can you refund the amount I paid?

You used your card on Booking.com, so we are not in possession of your money. From Booking.com, we receive a portion of the guests´ payment approximately two weeks AFTER the guests have stayed in our apartment. Since you have not stayed with us, we haven´t received your payment. Therefore, there is nothing we can refund.
When booking on Booking.com, Airbnb or other booking channels, their cancellation policy applies. If you had booked on our site sunshine-rentals.com, our refund terms would apply. You must look at the cancellation policy that you accepted when you booked. These terms will determine whether you are entitled to a refund or not.
If there is a chance that you may cancel, it is important to look at the refund policy BEFORE you complete the booking process. Otherwise, you may lose all or a part of the payment.
