Additional Services

We allow an earlier check-in and a later check-out only when available and at additional cost. To grant earlier access to the apartment, the night before your arrival must be available. Similarly, a late check-out requires us to reserve the night after your stay. Please understand that we normally have other guests, so this service is USUALLY NOT AVAILABLE.

The hot tub located on the roof terrace is an inflatable style hot tub. It needs regular maintenance, freshwater for every new guest, cleaning, chemicals and filters. Sometimes, we need to replace the whole unit entirely. Additionally, it consumes a lot of electricity which is expensive in Portugal. Since this is a costly service for us to offer, there is a surcharge when guests want to enjoy this feature. Of course, you are more than welcome to stay without using the hot tub.

When using the hot tub for several days, it may require thorough cleaning and changing the water. We recommend guests always have a shower with soap before using the hot tub. When cleaning is needed, we offer a hot tub cleaning service. This includes changing the water, cleaning the hot tub, replacing the filters and adding new chemicals.

Please note that in mid-winter, the hot tub may become unavailable due to damage the cold weather can cause. The temperature in Ferragudo can fall below zero some nights during the winter period. If the hot tub is placed under the open sky, and temperatures drop below zero at night, it may become damaged since it´s not designed for such cold weather.
