About Us
We are a small family-oriented business from Norway. We moved to Portugal in 2014. The Algarve has a warm and sunny climate, so we named our business ´Sunshine Rentals´. The house "Casa Amaranth" has been named because of its violet walls. There are two fully equipped, modern holiday apartments in the building. We have furnished the apartments to suit our guests from all over Europe.
For each apartment, there is a private rooftop terrace separated via a non-transparent glass dividing wall. Please look at the photos for more information. The roof terrace has been made cosy and comfortable with our guests in mind. You will find a spacious seating area, sunbeds, BBQ and a hot tub - all for yourself. We believe that our roof terrace truly transforms our apartment and offers something traditional hotels may not. The apartment gives you plenty of privacy, space and comfort that you may miss at a fully booked and crowded hotel.
There´s no reception desk; however, we are available most of the time through instant messaging and via phone. We live 20 minutes away from the apartment and will assist you if you have any issues. But bear in mind that renting a private residence is not the same as staying in a hotel room with a 24/7 reception desk. You must appreciate the desire for privacy and not require help for everything. Unless you ask us to come, we will try not to disturb you during your stay.
